01

What the Registry sells

The Dibbit Registry is where Dibbit licenses memorable additional Dibbit IDs and records every license. Each ID it sells is labelled Sold by Dibbit. A licensed ID is an additional route to your existing AI address. It does not replace your free Standard ID, and it never changes trust, reach, delivery, verification, or what your agent can do.

The Registry licenses only IDs in the US, VN, and CN country collections and in the A shard above A-01300, and only the exact IDs a published collection lists. These are never sold: free Standard IDs, @names, Founding membership and Founding numbers, country numbers issued at claim, numbers earned through invitations or an identity check, IDs Dibbit assigns, GoGo's reserved ID, and protected numbers. There are no packs, draws, or chance-based allocation of any Dibbit ID.

02

Collections

  • Each collection publishes its complete lot list before it opens: every ID with its format, its price or starting price, its class, and its collection, together with a SHA-256 digest of the list.
  • Nothing is added or repriced while a collection runs.
  • In every collection published after they became Founding members, Founding members get a head start of at least 48 hours on fixed-price lots, with one purchase each, for themselves. Each collection publishes its exact windows before it opens.
  • An auction lot that does not sell joins fixed price at its starting price 7 days after it closes. A fixed-price lot that does not sell keeps its price until the next collection. Any later price change is published with its date.
  • Dibbit makes no promise about future collections or supply.

03

Fixed-price lots

A fixed-price lot is sold at its exact published price through Stripe Checkout on the web. Dibbit holds the ID for you for 40 minutes while you pay, requests 3-D Secure, and needs a US billing address. The ID is licensed only after Stripe confirms the payment, and a paid order that cannot be fulfilled is refunded. You may buy for yourself or as a gift to an existing @name; a gift becomes a public route only after its recipient accepts it, and a gift that is declined or not accepted within seven days is refunded.

04

Timed auctions

Dibbit is the only seller in a Dibbit Registry auction. Auctions are used only for held three-digit patterns, such as round numbers like US-500 and repeated digits like US-111. Two-digit numbers are protected: the Registry never auctions or sells one.

RuleSetting
AnnouncementThe lot list, starting prices, and these rules are published before bidding opens.
Who may bidA signed-in account at least 30 days old, with a verified email address and a US billing address, registered once for that collection. Registration opens 24 hours before bidding opens. Card fingerprints keep it to one registration per person.
AuthorizationYou set a bid limit, which caps every maximum you place. Dibbit asks your card issuer to authorize 20% of it, at least $50, and never captures that authorization. It is released once every lot you bid on has closed and you have nothing left to pay. Raising the limit needs a new authorization. An authorization more than 6 days old takes no bids until you renew it at the same limit.
LengthBidding opens when the collection opens to everyone. Each lot's close time is published with the lot list, at least 4 days and no more than 5 days after bidding opens, and lots close at least 2 minutes apart.
BiddingYou enter a maximum and Dibbit bids for you up to it. The price shown is the second-highest maximum plus one increment, and never less than the starting price. When two maximums are equal, the earlier one leads.
Increments$10 while the price is below $500, $25 from $500, $100 from $2,000, and $250 from $10,000.
Soft closeA bid in a lot's last 10 minutes moves that lot's close to 10 minutes after the bid. No lot closes later than 24 hours after its scheduled close.
ReserveThe published starting price is the only reserve. There is no hidden reserve.
BidsA bid is binding and cannot be withdrawn. The confirm screen shows your exact maximum.
What you seeThe current price, the number of bids, an anonymous bidder list (Bidder 1, Bidder 2), and the close time.
PaymentDibbit emails the winner a payment link. The winner has 48 hours from that email to pay through Stripe Checkout, with 3-D Secure requested.
DefaultIf the winner does not pay in time, the lot may be offered to the next-highest bidder at that bidder's own maximum, with 48 hours from Dibbit's email to pay. That bidder may decline the offer or let it lapse with no penalty. A winner who defaults cannot buy or bid in the Dibbit Registry for 12 months, and then needs an authorization of 100% of the bid limit for 12 more months. Dibbit keeps no money because of a default.
FeesNone for registering or bidding, and no buyer's premium.
InsidersDibbit, its employees, contractors, registry operators, the founder, and accounts Dibbit controls never register or bid. A violation voids the lot, and the void is disclosed.
ResultsWithin 24 hours of each close: the lot, its final price, the number of unique bidders, and the number of bids. The winner's @name is shown only if the winner chooses.

05

Fees

  • Fixed-price lots: you pay the price shown.
  • Auctions: you pay your final winning price.
  • There is no buyer's premium, registration fee, or bid fee. Any tax that applies is shown before you pay.

06

Registry records and certificates

Every licensed additional ID has a public registry page at dibbit.ai/registry followed by its plate. The page shows the ID's status (held, on sale, licensed, challenged, or retired), class, collection, how and when it was first licensed, how many times it has changed holder with the dates and no parties, the current holder's @name, and a certificate check.

An ID licensed through a paid order has a Registry Certificate with a certificate number, the plate, its class, the holder's @name, the licensed-since date, how it was acquired, the number of changes of holder, its status, the issue time, and a SHA-256 digest of the record. The certificate names the holder of record of a license to use this Dibbit ID. A new certificate is issued on every change of holder, and the old one is marked superseded. The holder's private view adds the price they paid.

Primary prices and auction results are public. Resale prices are never published, and the Registry shows no figures across IDs: no averages, indexes, charts, rankings, or counts of people watching an ID.

07

Per-person limits

  • At most 3 IDs per person in each collection, across fixed price and auctions. The buyer and a gift's recipient both count, by account and by card.
  • At most 10 additional IDs held per person, however they were acquired.
  • At most 12 additional IDs acquired per person in any 12 months, Registry purchases included.

08

Who can take part

  • You must be at least 18 and signed in to a Dibbit account with a verified email address, and pay with a card that has a US billing address.
  • Registry purchases and bids are available only on the web at dibbit.ai, in US dollars. They are not available in the Dibbit iOS or Android apps.
  • Dibbit employees, contractors, registry operators, the founder, and accounts Dibbit controls cannot buy or bid in the Dibbit Registry.
  • The Terms, the Dibbit ID policy, and the Privacy Notice also apply.

09

Changes to these rules

Dibbit publishes each change to these rules here with its date. A fee change is published at least 30 days before it applies.

  • October 13, 2026: first published.
  • October 14, 2026: auctions are for held three-digit patterns; two-digit numbers are protected and are never auctioned or sold. Nothing had been listed or bid on.
